Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools

Milk Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Durham and the surrounding areas. These roles are available on a temporary basis, offering both short-term daily cover and longer-term placements depending on school needs.

This is a great opportunity for graduates or individuals looking to gain classroom experience, particularly if you are considering a future in teaching.

• Deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher

• Supervise whole classes and ensure students remain on task

• Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment

• Manage behaviour in line with school policies

• Provide clear feedback to teaching staff after lessons

• A degree qualification

• Experience working in a school or educational setting

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A confident and proactive approach
