CCAPP Post Doctoral Scholar

Post Doctoral Scholar will carry out a vigorous program of independent research, write papers for refereed publication, travel to conferences and other venues to present the results, and interact with other researchers to develop new directions that will aid the OSU Center for Cosmology and Astro Particle Physics (CCAPP, (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).).

CCAPP Fellow appointments will be for three-year terms. In addition to competitive salaries (approximately $67,000annual), these positions come with $10k/year research budgets and $3k relocation funds. Applicants will also be considered for other postdoctoral positions.

Applications will be reviewed until all positions are filled but applying before November 23, 2026is strongly preferred.

Finalists for this position will be asked to furnish at least three letters of recommendation upon request.

Minimum Education Required

Doctorate (Academic) with a Major in physics or astronomy by the time of appointment.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have demonstrated records of accomplishments in cosmology, astroparticle physics, astrophysics, or closely related fields.
