Position Summary
The Assistant Director of Enrollment Management reports to the Director of Enrollment Management and supports the recruitment, evaluation, enrollment and retention of prospective students and families across grades PK–12, with primary responsibility for Middle School admissions.
The Assistant Director builds strong relationships with prospective families throughout the enrollment process and helps develop and execute strategies to increase awareness of Durham Academy, strengthen the enrollment pipeline and support the school’s enrollment goals.
This is a full-time, 12-month position.
Major Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management.
Qualifications and Experience- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Three or more years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, marketing, communications, education or a related field preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong digital and data literacy; experience with Veracross or another admissions/CRM platform preferred.
- Ability to analyze enrollment data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues.
- Commitment to building a diverse, equitable and engaging school community.
- Flexibility to participate in occasional evening and weekend admissions events.
