We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer for Building Design with a positive, hands-on, collaborative work style to join our Durham, NC office to elevate our engineering capabilities and further grow dynamic Engineering Studios in every office of Little. Experience should include most of the following project types: civic/government, financial services, retail, high tech/R&D, healthcare, office, interior renovation, higher education, and/or education projects.
A position you'll love :
* Serve as the structural lead on projects, managing scope, schedule, and deliverables.
* Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and clients.
* Conduct design reviews and provide guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
* Participate in project planning, budgeting, and risk assessments.
* Using your passion for innovative design, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Little is made up of Architects, Mechanical, Electrical and Structural Engineers, Land Planners, Landscape Architects & Civil Engineers, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, CAFM & Strategic Planners and Digital Imaging and Animation specialists. Newport Beach CA, Tysons Corner (DC), and Orlando FL.

* Familiarity with Design Software (RAM, RISA 3D, ADAPT-Builder, Enercalc)
* You are curious and creative, have a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking, and able to collaborate in a team setting
* Passion for sustainability (LEED Accredited a plus); and
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
