We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support equipment reliability, maintenance strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives within a high-speed automated medical device manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting both existing production equipment and reliability assessments for new manufacturing equipment installations. Candidates with backgrounds in automotive or other high-speed automated assembly industries are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Support reliability engineering activities for high-speed automated manufacturing and assembly equipment
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
- Conduct reliability assessments for new equipment installations and startup activities
- Troubleshoot equipment reliability and performance issues to minimize downtime
- Analyze equipment performance data and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams
- Support root cause investigations, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure equipment reliability aligns with production, safety, and quality requirements
- Maintain reliability documentation, maintenance records, and engineering reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field
- 7+ years of plant reliability engineering experience
- Strong experience in high-speed automated manufacturing or assembly environments
- Experience supporting equipment already in operation and new equipment implementation
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Experience with in medical device, automotive, or automated assembly industries
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled automated equipment and manufacturing systems
- Experience with predictive maintenance tools and reliability metrics
- 7+ years of reliability engineering experience in automated manufacturing environments
