Engineering Account Manager

Seeking an Engineering Account Manager to manage strategic customer accounts ($15M–$25M annually). This role bridges engineering, manufacturing, and commercial functions, ensuring successful execution across the full product lifecycle while supporting account growth and profitability.

• Act as the primary technical and commercial contact for assigned accounts
• Manage customer relationships, retention, and account growth
• Review technical drawings, specifications, and product requirements
• Coordinate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) between customers and internal teams
• Identify and mitigate risks related to manufacturing, cost, quality, and timelines
• Lead cross-functional coordination across engineering, quality, production, supply chain, and finance
• Support tooling, sampling, validation, product launch, and approvals
• Manage communication for quality issues, engineering changes, and delivery challenges
• Partner with Quality on corrective actions and issue resolution
• Support pricing discussions, cost impacts, and margin protection
• Track project milestones, risks, and customer commitments
• Collaborate with global manufacturing teams (Asia & U.S.)

• 3–5 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical project/program management
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineered products
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, CAD data, and specifications
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Commercial awareness (cost, pricing, margins)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; CREO or similar CAD tools preferred
• Ability to travel (~15%) and work across global time zones
• Combination of office and manufacturing settings
• Involves production floor exposure and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs)
• Requires use of PPE in manufacturing environments
