This role involves preparing detailed technical drawings, developing site layouts, and supporting the production of grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control plans. Working under the direction of licensed engineers and project managers, the Civil Design Engineer contributes to design accuracy, regulatory compliance, and overall project delivery. You'll be required to manage multiple design tasks, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and apply advanced design tools to produce high-quality construction documents.

This position plays a key role in translating engineering concepts into detailed plans and supporting projects from initial planning through permitting.

• Prepare detailed civil design drawings, plans, and models in accordance with project requirements and regulatory standards
• Assist with grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control design
• Utilize advanced Civil 3D features for surface modeling, alignments, profiles, and plan production
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to support integrated design solutions
• Incorporate survey data and field information into design documents
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical drafting and design support
• Assist in quality control by reviewing design documents for accuracy and completeness

Required

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant civil design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, including advanced features
• Strong understanding of civil design principles, construction documentation, and permitting requirements
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and within a team
