Position Overview
Lead the integration of next‑generation Silicon Carbide based power electronic products and technologies into our state‑of‑the‑art production facilities. Responsible for the new product life cycle from initial setup to product optimization, yield improvements, and transfer of products and fab processes to new facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the day‑to‑day onboarding of new products and technologies, building plans with integration and process teams.
- Coordinate across cross‑functional teams (Materials, Epi, Fab, TDI) and participate in NPI/NTI business reviews.
- Highlight manufacturability concerns early and summarize performance against design specs in later phases to ensure readiness for high‑volume manufacturing.
- Engage with Process Engineering early to define and document process knowledge and interactions.
- Perform process windowing using DOE, validate specifications, assess new product Cpk, and compile a process manual for each new technology.
- Develop statistical solutions and structured problem‑solving tools to address process issues.
- Transfer products and fab processes to new Fab facilities as the business expands.
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Fab Process/Development Engineering experience with a focus on new process development/characterization.
- Background in power semiconductors preferred.
- Understanding of semiconductor processes including thin‑film deposition, lithography, wet/dry etch, diffusion, plating, and backside wafer processing.
- Experience in design of experiments, statistical analysis, and process control with a passion for data analysis.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and business needs.
