We’re seeking a full-time structural engineer to join our expanding team and contribute to the design and management of projects in the pharmaceutical and food & beverage industries. The Structural Engineer will- Lead the structural engineering design for projects in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and bioindustry sectors.
- Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, process) to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and design for a variety of structures, including buildings, equipment supports, and foundations.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI), industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Ensure all engineering work adheres to the company’s quality standards and follows project-specific requirements.
- Conduct structural inspections and assessments, recommending corrective actions if necessary.
- Review submittals, shop drawings, and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) during construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 8-10 years of structural engineering experience, with a focus on agrifood, bioindustrial and pharmaceutical industry.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP
2000, ETABS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit). - In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- 5-10% travel expected for this position.
