Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
  • Own, manage and drive new Power Product technologies through the Business Phase/Gate approval process, from Concept through Commercialization, focusing on product lines in Die, Discrete, or Module.
  • Develop and utilize models to accurately predict power product device performance.
  • Own the life‑cycle of new power products including performance simulation, design, parametric evaluation, performance analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization of the final product.
  • Own mitigation planning of all design/technical, manufacturing, schedule, and yield risks.
  • Own the integration of next‑generation technologies to enable new product releases.
  • Work closely with R&D and marketing to ensure new technology projects align with marketing needs and to commercialize technologies for first‑of‑a‑kind power products.
  • Troubleshoot issues with NPI product designs not meeting performance or robustness requirements.
  • Once technologies have been de‑risked, collaborate with the NPI PMO team to ensure a clean handoff of the technology’s proliferation into larger portfolios.
  • Assemble building blocks using available technologies to design new power products that meet customer needs for performance and robustness.
  • Ensure fulfillment of product requirements, including all items for product release.
  • Identify deliverables and ensure timely delivery to support successful product transition to the Operations team.
  • Develop technology road‑mapping activities in collaboration with R&D and marketing.
  • Integrate new technologies into existing product portfolios.
  • Forecast, plan, coordinate, and schedule substrate and epi starting material, wafer starts, package qualification builds, test, characterization, and reliability testing to maintain qualification schedule timeliness.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to define product release timelines and strategies.
  • Document, summarize, and report project status to key stakeholders, communicating progress, schedule, and risks.
  • Ensure all testing, reliability stress, and evaluation comply with current and emerging standards, including JEDEC, AEC‑Q101, Power Module LV324, AGQ
    324, and SiC‑specific standards.
  • Facilitate DFMEA and DVP&R, ensuring products are effectively identified, documented, and lessons learned incorporated into new product risk analysis.
  • Utilize 8D methodology to address qualification issues, document corrective actions, and capture lessons learned for future development.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 5 years of industry experience in process engineering, process integration, or product engineering within a production semiconductor wafer fabrication facility.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to multi‑task in a complex environment, with strong written and verbal communication.
  • Experience using data analysis to drive and defend technical decision making.
  • Project ownership mindset and initiative to make necessary adjustments to achieve goals.
  • Analytical mindset and initiative to confront difficult problems and challenge team performance.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate challenging problems.
  • Ability to communicate with experts across R&D, Engineering, Operations, Reliability, Marketing, and Leadership.
  • Strong problem‑identifying, problem‑solving, and risk mitigation skills.
  • Degree in engineering, physics, or closely related field.
  • Candidate must be a US citizen or Green Card holder.
  • Technical understanding of semiconductor device physics, testing, and functionality.
Preferred Requirements
  • At least 8 years of industry experience in process engineering, process integration, and/or product engineering within a production semiconductor wafer fabrication facility.
  • Strong problem‑solving and mitigation skills, including 8D, FMEA, DOE, and ANOVA.
  • Advanced degree in engineering, physics, or closely related field.
  • Experience with product development, design, or optimization in wide‑bandgap power devices.

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
