We are seeking an experienced Professional Engineer (PE) to join our Land Development team in a Project Manager capacity. This individual will play a key role in leading projects, managing internal teams, and serving as a trusted partner to clients.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage land development projects from concept through completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client relationships and communication
- Prepare and review proposals, contracts, and project scopes
- Coordinate across internal disciplines (civil, surveying, planning, environmental, etc.)
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff
- Ensure quality control and adherence to regulatory standards
- Support business development efforts and identify new opportunities
- Bachelors' Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program is required
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as a project engineer or engineering intern
- A valid NC Professional Engineering (PE) license is required
- Highly detail oriented and possess excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Actively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members
- Strong time management and analytical skills
- Effective Client Relations and public speaking capabilities
- Effective written communication skills
- Possess a focus on quality and the ability to perform quality control review
- AutoCAD Civil3D proficiency is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Bluebeam REVU desired
- Able to work independently and manage/schedule a team
