Our client, a leading medical device and product development organization, is seeking an Engineering Lab Technician | CT Imaging & Medical Device R&D to join their team. As an Engineering Lab Technician, you will be part of the Digital Engineering & Imaging group supporting Product Development, R&D, and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, hands-on technical aptitude, and excellent problem-solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Engineering Lab Technician | CT Imaging & Medical Device R&D
Location: Research Triangle Park, NC
Pay Range: $22.00/hour
- Operate and support industrial CT scanners and other advanced imaging systems used in product development activities.
- Assist with imaging acquisition, analysis, and basic post-processing of scan data.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and analysis summaries while ensuring data accuracy and quality.
- Support laboratory operations, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow established safety, quality, and laboratory procedures while utilizing precision tools and equipment.
- Associate's Degree in Science, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
- Experience in a laboratory, manufacturing, engineering, or other hands-on technical environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to document technical findings accurately.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively within a team, and learn new technologies quickly.
- Hands-on experience with advanced CT imaging and cutting-edge product development technologies.
