We work with hundreds of college and professional teams and major sporting events to deliver exceptional fan experiences, including full‑service tailgates, premium hospitality events and exclusive ticket packages. In addition to managing fan experience offerings, we also provide comprehensive hospitality solutions to our team and event partners with event staffing, event management, premium hospitality management and venue installations.

Position Summary

The Assistant General Manager’s (AGM) primary responsibility is to assist the General Manager in the oversight, management, and operation of events at a designated location. The AGM supports a diverse portfolio of events, delivers operational excellence, and provides leadership to event management staff while ensuring unsurpassed customer service. Responsibilities include recruiting and training local staff, managing the team and event operations on venue days, cultivating and growing the business, handling office administration and scheduling, and supporting the overall office management.

The role requires night, weekend, and some travel work and is supervised by the General Manager. The position is bonus eligible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support in the overall operation of events
  • Communicate regularly with the REVELXP Staffing Operations Management Team to provide regular updates on internal and external account operations
  • Support the General Manager to build, maintain, and nourish constructive relationships with clients and identify and grow new business relationships
  • Assist in large‑scale staff training on both company and client’s venue standards, including Venue Breakouts, Emergency management, Customer Service, Positive Team Environment, and Staff Job Duties
  • Create and track all event invoices at the account while using the REVELXP workforce management solution system
  • Ensure compliance with all company administrative policies and procedures
  • Manage account budgets, reporting, invoicing, onboarding processes, time processing, and communication for all clients and groups within the account
Requirements

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of one year of office management experience
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working with large groups in a fast‑paced environment
  • Possess a passion for customer service
  • Lead by example professionally and personally
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Be able to respond to change in a positive and productive manner
  • Demonstrate organization and attention to small, critical details
  • Be able to handle multiple tasks
  • Be able to operate in a quick, energetic manner
  • Excellent problem‑solving and negotiation skills
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds (e.g., event materials, signage)
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
  • Manual dexterity to handle event materials and technology
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor spaces
  • Good visual acuity and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to event sites, as needed
Work Environment
  • Combination of office and on‑site event environments
  • Fast‑paced conditions during live events
  • Frequent interaction with clients, vendors, and large groups
  • Required to work weekends, evenings, holidays or multi‑day work assignments, as needed
  • Long periods of standing and constant movement around the event venue are expected on event days; longer hours/days may be required for large events and training sessions
  • Long periods of sitting while on the phone and at the computer are common on office days
