Brokerage Specialist - Virtual

About the Role

The Representative role at Alight Financial Services requires knowledge of the securities industry, brokerage investing, and other company services. Effective communication skills are essential for customer and support interactions, as well as independent work, troubleshooting, researching issues, and developing solutions.

• Working knowledge of types of After Tax Brokerage Accounts and helping customers select the most appropriate provider.
• Knowledge of general qualified plan requirements and the ability to provide guidance on plan distributions, loans, investment choices, and other specific plan rules.
• Understanding of IRA account types and the ability to identify which IRA is appropriate for customers.
• Familiarity with college savings plan options available through PFC and ability to navigate the internal PFC 529 website for information.
• Build a knowledge base and communicate effectively to employees about the advisor relationship.

• 5 years of financial industry experience.
• Ability to utilize conceptual thinking to identify patterns, apply concepts, and clarify complex information.
• Ability to educate callers on complex retirement and education funding concepts.
• Listening skills to understand both articulated and unarticulated needs.
• Obtain FINRA Series 6 and 63 within 6 months of employment.
• Build rapport and possess interpersonal skills.
• Teamwork skills to engage team members in the Call Center and DC Client Teams.
• Use data to persuade and influence customers to objectively guide them.
• Ask relevant probing questions to assess customer needs.

All virtual interviews will be conducted on video. The candidate may be requested to have a camera on and to travel to a physical office location on occasion.
