Advisor Service Specialist 2 - Contingent Overview
Step into a role where customer support, technical issue resolution, and documentation all come together. As a Customer Service Specialist 2 (Contingent), you'll support account management, operations, and customer service across moderately complex requests - helping internal teams and customers find clear, accurate resolutions. You'll also identify process improvements and apply independent judgment to evaluate routine-to-moderate technical challenges in a brokerage environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within financial services and bring strong documentation discipline to a customer‑facing operations setting.
Required Skills- Brokerage environment experience (required)
- Experience working alongside financial advisors, traders, or equivalent brokerage exposure
- Financial services / customer service experience
- 2+ years in Customer Service, Financial Services, or Contact Center (or equivalent via experience, training, military experience, or education)
- Licensing familiarity with FINRA requirements
- Must be licensed and familiar with SIE or other FINRA licenses
- Strong documentation experience (major part of the role)
- Document cases accurately
- Code FINRA-related regulations
- Series 7 / capital markets exposure
- Series 7 (Capital Markets) experience is required
- Trade support fundamentals
- BAU processes such as trade capture
- Interest rate middle office side exposure
- Ability to support trade booking
, identifying/correcting errors, and handling trade flow tasks
- Trade settlements background
- Familiarity supporting trade settlement processes
- Fast learning mindset
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and traded product concepts
- Customer interaction readiness
- One day per week taking calls (
very low volume: ~5-10 calls total

- Series 7 trading experience (capitalize on trading-side exposure)
- Finance degree
- Interest in building a long‑term career in brokerage
Education and Experience
- Preferred: Finance-related degree
- Preferred experience level: 2+ years in customer service and/or financial services (brokerage exposure required)

- 30 days onsite training
