This actuarial role is dedicated to supporting the ERM function for Aspida. This position will play a key role in the continued maturity of the ERM infrastructure at Aspida of ERM which includes actuarial analyses, leveraging technical skills, and active participation in the rollout and integration of key new policies and frameworks, ensuring effective implementation and operationalization. This role will report to the AVP, ERM and is required to be onsite 3 days a week at our Durham, NC headquarters.

• Continued development and implementation of an industry-leading risk management framework. Coordinating with Aspida Life, Aspida Re, AIS and Aspida Group executives and stakeholders
• Support the analysis and summarization of financial projections used across the business.
• Analyze stress testing results on financial outcomes and clearly explain the key drivers behind those results.
• Evaluate the impact of deterministic and stochastic scenarios on Aspides’ financial performance.
• Monitor Aspida’s Key Risk and Performance Indicators including liquidity risk and collateral management metrics.
• Enhance risk appetite framework, stress testing methodology, and risk management reporting to provide deeper insights into the business and ensure compliance. This includes developing and refining CTE or VaR metrics.
• Collaborate with actuaries, finance, asset managers, the M&A team, and other first line functions to build and enhance risk reporting around key strategic initiatives and support decision making.
