Loan Processor – Branch Department

• Oversee receipt of loan files from a Loan Officer through Final Approval.
• Review file for correct stacking order, AU findings for initial determination, and appropriate documentation; input changes into the computer system and re‑run for correct AU determination.
• Submit all files to a DHI Underwriter at your Regional Underwriting Center, review conditions from underwriting, and resubmit to the AU system after incorporating changes.
• Attend QC meetings and comply with all Quality Control policies; review all documents for DHI Mortgage required checklists and respond to QC write‑ups within 10 calendar days.
• Review loan‑processor, project‑to‑close, and timeline‑exception reports daily; review Loans in Process report weekly.
• Maintain an accurate communication log with all parties.
• Attend weekly processor meetings as directed by the Branch Manager.
• Reconcile the Fee Summary Sheet.
• Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company.

• One‑year certificate from college or technical school.
• Three to six months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form or via DRH applications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
