Financial Analyst

We are seeking a motivated FP&A Analyst to join our client's finance team. This role will support financial planning, business performance reporting, and strategic decision-making through financial modeling, KPI analysis, profitability assessments, and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of finance, FP&A, accounting, or related analytical experience and possess strong Excel and data analysis skills.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct profitability analysis by customer, product, service line, business unit, or market segment.
• Support the monthly forecasting process, annual budgeting cycle, and long-range planning efforts.
• Perform variance analysis comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for finance leadership and business stakeholders.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business drivers, and provide actionable financial insights.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, business cases, and special projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automate analyses, and enhance data accuracy.
• Support management decision-making through data-driven recommendations and financial insights.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, business analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling techniques.
• Experience working with large data sets and translating findings into meaningful business recommendations.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and variance analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or financial reporting systems is a plus.
