Job Overview cts financial planning and accounting practices including: budgeting, costing, financial analysis, and long-range forecasting for a mid-sized market or regional function(s). Partners with the business, providing subject matter expertise and direction for the business/function on financial and accounting issues. /p ntial Functions 03e rstands business partner/client markets and translates strategy into proactive plans to enable successful achievement of business results.
/p /li res that the recording, measurement and reporting of all financial transactions adhere to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), internal IQVIA corporate policies and procedures, government regulations and local business requirements. /p /li lops specific business metrics that support timely and actionable information flow for daily operational and long-term strategic planning purposes. /p /li ort, and lead as appropriate, high profile negotiations that arise during service delivery from a financial nature /p /li lop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with the Business Development team and Senior Functional Leadership/ Therapeutic Area Heads /p /li develop pricing strategies, policies, and analysis.
/p /li ides monthly financial reporting to constituencies. /p /li st in developing commercial offerings, including payment terms, schedules, Bonus/Penalty, and other client requests. /p /li res achievement of business financial targets by monitoring spending, providing insight, and early warning. /p /li tifies and monitors areas of risk and/or opportunity and their financial impact on the business. /p /li re the provision of timely and value add risk assessments to the business for new and existing clients.
Offer commercial recommendations and solutions to senior management. /p /li ner externally with client Finance and Outsourcing counterparts, and internal with Pricing, Operations, Finance and Contracts. /p /li tiate, review and provide financial accrual reporting, as requested, by the client /p /li /ul ifications 03e er's Degree Finance, Accounting or Financial Management Pref /p /li elor's Degree Req /p /li ires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one department or multiple related departments.
/p /li n (7) years of progressively responsible experience in business analysis, accounting and finance. /p /li ledge of financial systems. /p /li llent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and focus. /p /li en record of results working with senior management. /p /li ng project management skills and the ability to translate business issues into financial requirements.
/p /li nical proficiency with financial application software is essential. /p /li level of integrity and self-confidence. /p /li /ul
