SVP, Finance

Meta Metrics, Inc. seeks an SVP, Finance to lead financial strategy, planning, and operations for its mission-driven educational measurement business. Reporting to executive leadership, this role oversees budgeting, forecasting, revenue modeling, and financial reporting to support scalable assessments and learning analytics. The SVP will partner with leaders across research, product, and sales to guide investment decisions, optimize profitability, and ensure compliance.

This leader will develop high-performing finance teams, refine KPIs and dashboards, support fundraising and partnerships, and provide data-driven insight that advances educational impact and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and capital allocation aligned with company mission and growth goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling across business lines.
• Direct GAAP-compliant financial reporting, controls, and risk management.
• Partner with research, product, sales, and operations leaders to evaluate investments and optimize profitability.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance and accounting team.
• Design and refine KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to inform executive decision-making.
• Support pricing, revenue modeling, and contracts to drive sustainable, scalable growth.
• Contribute to board reporting, investor materials, and major partnership or funding discussions.
