The Quality Assurance Manager (eQMS & EU GDP) will be responsible for two distinct but complementary quality functions at Cavalier Logistics: (1) the implementation and ongoing management of the Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS), and (2) the implementation and management of EU Good Distribution Practice (EU GDP) compliance and certification. The successful candidate will work closely with an external quality consultant to achieve EU GDP certification while ensuring sustainable compliance through a robust, independently managed eQMS.
Responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to:
- eQMS Implementation & Management
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Cavalier’s Electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).
- Establish and maintain eQMS governance, including document control, change management, CAPA, deviations, audits, and training.
- Ensure the eQMS supports business operations while remaining scalable and audit-ready.
- Oversee eQMS training, user adoption, and effectiveness monitoring.
- Maintain eQMS records and reporting to support management reviews and audits.
- EU GDP Implementation & Management
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of EU Good Distribution Practice (EU GDP) compliance.
- Partner with an external consultant to conduct EU GDP gap analysis and manage remediation plans.
- Define and manage the Scope of Work (SOW) related to EU GDP certification.
- Coordinate EU GDP audits, inspections, and certification activities.
- Ensure EU GDP-compliant SOPs, training, deviations, and CAPAs are maintained.
- Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provides functional quality oversight across all Cavalier Logistics stations.
- Works collaboratively with Branch Managers, Operations Managers, and station-level staff to implement, achieve, and maintain full EU GDP compliance.
- Guides operational teams in applying eQMS and EU GDP requirements within daily workflows.
- Supports branch-level training, audit readiness, deviation management, and CAPA execution.
- Acts as a quality escalation point for GDP-related risks, nonconformances, and compliance issues.
- Ensures consistent application of EU GDP standards across all Cavalier locations.
- Computer skills required:

Electronic Mail Software (Outlook);
Presentation software (PowerPoint); and Publisher software. - Three to five years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience.
