Why This Role MattersThis position plays a key part in supporting Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services by verifying member information, scheduling appointments, and coordinating communication across members, pharmacists, and providers. Your work directly supports Medicare Star performance and quality initiatives within a leading healthcare organization.
What You’ll Do- Verify member demographic, provider, and pharmacy information and update records within the MTM platform
- Contact members to explain MTM program benefits and schedule Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMRs) or Targeted Medication Reviews (TMRs)
- Receive and respond to inbound calls from members, pharmacies, and provider offices, determining next steps and escalating as appropriate
- Coordinate outbound faxing and conduct follow-up communication with healthcare providers
- Assess member needs and appropriately triage to clinical pharmacists or other departments
- Support Medicare Star measures and other quality‑focused initiatives
- A current, up-to-date resume
- High school diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Active North Carolina pharmacy technician license (PTCB preferred)
- Ability to meet compliance requirements
- A role that directly supports member health outcomes and quality care initiatives
- Experience in MTM workflows, pharmacy quality programs, and member engagement
