Pay: $15.00 per hour + overtime + incentive pay
AboutThe Role
The Burks Companies (TBC) is hiring full‑time Room Attendants/Housekeeping Staff to join our hospitality team. This role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and creating exceptional guest experiences in luxury and high‑profile facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform detailed cleaning tasks in guest rooms (~15 rooms per shift), including making beds, changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, dusting furniture, and maintaining overall cleanliness.
- Ensure rooms are fully cleaned, stocked, and presented to required standards.
- Identify and promptly report any room discrepancies or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Respond to guest requests professionally and courteously.
- Follow all required safety and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a friendly and positive attitude throughout the shift.
- Serve as a role model for other TBC employees.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and provide proof of eligibility.
- Age: 21 or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, stooping, standing for extended periods).
- Must be able to work with various cleaning tools and chemicals while following all safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred.
- All positions are subject to background and employment verification.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Six months of housekeeping experience is a plus.
- Full-time position 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.; schedule may vary.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Minimum one‑year commitment required*. If employment ends before one year, the employee may be responsible for reimbursing applicable relocation or travel expenses.
