Job SummaryThe Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role supervises housekeeping staff and establishes cleaning standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and train housekeeping staff
- Ensure team adherence to cleanliness and service standards
- Operations Management
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols
- Quality Control
- Inspect rooms and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Maintain consistent service quality across all areas
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Maintain proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals
- 3–5+ years of housekeeping experience
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety standards
- May require standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Experience in hotels, resorts, or large facilities
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
