Wolfspeed’s Human Resources business unit is seeking a Benefits Analyst to participate and lead the development and implementation of benefit solutions for Wolfspeed globally, but primarily in the US. This position participates in various activities related to short- and long-term benefits strategy including open enrollment, 401(K) plan management, leaves processes to ensure Wolfspeed delivers competitive benefits packages to employees that are aligned with Wolfspeed’s total rewards strategy in each country.
Day-to-Day
- Perform staff support activities to develop, implement and administer benefits policies and programs
- Monitor benefit trends and provide guidance to leadership on direction of our programs
- Administer benefit programs and policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, standards, and agreements and ensure programs are fully integrated with statutory programs within each country
- Implement solutions in alignment with our policies, financial strategies, etc. to drive innovation, employee experience and cost optimization
- Support benefits policies to guide programs design and governance
- Collaborate cross-functionally and build strong relationships
- Strong data auditing, analysis, and reporting capabilities, including payroll and retirement plan data reconciliation, with exceptional attention to detail
- Provide exceptional service to colleagues and clients
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3-5+years of US benefit experience
- Hands-on experience administering 401(k) or defined contribution plans, including contributions, audits, and compliance activities
- Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations related to retirement plans
- Experience partnering with payroll teams and external vendors to manage retirement plan operations
- Excellent quantitative skills as demonstrated through previous experience in a corporate compensation or consulting role
- Strong computer skills including:
Excel modeling, PowerPoint presentation development, and understanding of HRIS - Demonstrated ability to present to and interact with all levels of employees, managers, and executives
