About the Opportunity:
Our client, a leader in Technology and People Data Analytics, is looking for a skilled
Sr. Consultant, People Analytics
to join their team for a 4 month engagement. This project involves empowering the HR team to harness the full potential of data, designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, and deriving actionable business insights from disparate data sources.

This is a high-impact role that requires a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

This role is focused on the successful completion of specific tasks and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advanced Data Analysis:Writing complex SQL queries to blend data from disparate sources and deriving insights that resonate with key stakeholders in HR and the business, advising on action plans.
  • Data Pipeline Management:Collaborating with the engineering team to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines (using tools like Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran) while implementing and optimizing ELT processes.
  • Data Integration & Security:Partnering with the engineering team to integrate people data across systems, ensuring it is handled securely and in accordance with data governance standards (e.g., row-level security or data masking).
  • Operations & Support:Building and monitoring data pipelines to ensure seamless data flow, troubleshooting and resolving any data-related issues, and providing technical support/training to HR team members.
  • Documentation & Improvement:Documenting data processes and continuously improving data infrastructure to enhance performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of successful contract engagements. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Data Engineer or People Analytics).
  • Deep expertise in Advanced SQL(absolute must, will be tested) and deep experience with modern data stack tools (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Git Lab). This isn t a learning role—you need to be a subject matter expert.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
  • Experience with

    ELT processes and data pipeline development, strong documentation skills, and prior experience with

    HR data.
  • Strong communication skills to provide clear and concise status updates to the project team and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, R) and knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
