NCDHHS ITD requires an experienced Salesforce Solutions Architect to lead the DCDEE Early Education Integration System. The role focuses on designing and delivering secure, scalable, and user-focused Salesforce and integration solutions aligned with the organization’s digital strategy. This position bridges strategic business needs with robust, secure solution architecture and plays a key role in shaping the Salesforce ecosystem through enterprise-grade designs and complex system integrations.

• Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions and guide technical strategy and execution
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, technical leads, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into cost-effective technical architectures
• Design and lead implementation of complex API-based integrations between Salesforce and external systems
• Ensure solutions meet data security, performance, backup, and recovery standards
• Identify and mitigate technical risks across the architecture
• Define best practices for using standard Salesforce functionality versus custom solutions
• Create high-quality technical documentation, data models, and solution diagrams
• Lead code reviews, design workshops, and release planning sessions
• Collaborate with Agile teams on backlog refinement, user story decomposition, and acceptance criteria
• Assist with Salesforce environment setup and CI/CD pipelines using release management tools
• Support Dev Ops processes and ensure smooth cross-functional delivery

• Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows, SOSL, SOQL, Salesforce Admin, architectural patterns, and testing best practices – 7 Years
• Salesforce configuration and development best practices – 7 Years
• Guiding development teams on platform technology usage – 7 Years
• Data migration strategies and ETL tools – 7 Years
• Mobile solutions and on-platform mobile considerations – 7 Years
• Salesforce Shield and Lightning – 7 Years
• Salesforce Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines – 5 Years
• Accessibility laws and WCAG 2.1 compliance – 5 Years
