Piper Companies is seeking a Senior System Analyst - Policy Admin to support a growing organization within the insurance and retirement solutions industry for a permanent hybrid position based out of Durham, NC. The Senior System Analyst - Policy Admin will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining a policy administration platform while collaborating closely with technical and business teams.
Responsibilities of the Senior System Analyst - Policy Admin include:
- Convert business objectives into comprehensive system requirements and collaborate with technology teams throughout the full development lifecycle.
- Review proposed product or system updates and identify the configuration changes or development efforts necessary to enable them.
- Analyze data-related issues and production incidents by examining system integrations, data feeds, and core application logic.
- Produce detailed documentation, workflow diagrams, and training resources to support new system functionality or release updates.
- Partner with cross‑functional groups—including developers, QA teams, and product leaders—to implement enhancements and resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications for the Senior System Analyst - Policy Admin include:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, technology, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience performing system analysis, conducting data reviews, and assessing application architecture or web‑based service components.
- At least 2 years of experience working in an insurance administration system or a comparable technology environment.
- Demonstrated ability to transform functional requests into precise, actionable technical specifications.
- Strong communication and organizational abilities, along with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Compensation for the Senior System Analyst - Policy Admin:
- Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000/year, 10% bonus, 7.5% LTI
- Comprehensive Benefits:
