Description
This contract supports the United States Army Fires Center of Excellence at Fort Sill by delivering comprehensive Information Technology (IT) and Knowledge Management services across a complex, mission‑critical training environment. The scope includes sustaining secure, resilient, and adaptable IT infrastructure spanning NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and closed restricted networks, enabling continuous support for classrooms, simulations, mission rehearsals, and operational systems. The Contractor provides on‑site technical expertise to manage enterprise systems, rapidly provision and reconfigure network environments, and ensure compliance with Army cybersecurity policies, while delivering responsive troubleshooting and uninterrupted support to military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
The IMO – Information Technologist (IT) I – Information Management Officer (IMO) shall provide Tier 1–2 technical support within a mission‑critical United States Army environment at Fort Sill, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of end‑user systems and information management services across the enterprise. Contractor personnel shall obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and all required Computing Environment (CE) certifications applicable to the operating systems and security tools supported throughout contract performance.
The IMO shall support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments, including device and endpoint management through Microsoft Intune and applications such as Outlook, One Drive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, and Access, while maintaining proficiency as systems evolve.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve desktop hardware and software issues.
- Perform PC imaging and workstation deployments.
- Configure connectivity and remote printing.
- Support automated email systems (e.g., Microsoft Outlook and Exchange).
- Deploy and manage user accounts, passwords, and file permissions in accordance with Army cybersecurity policies.
- Apply TCP/IP and LAN/WAN/Internet connectivity knowledge to support user environments.
- Communicate technical information clearly to users at all levels, ensuring efficient resolution and operational readiness.
- Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, OR a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in desktop support, systems administration, or network administration, with at least two (2) years supporting users in a Microsoft Windows enterprise environment.
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification and an active CompTIA Security+ certification (maintained throughout the contract period).
- Active Secret Clearance required; personnel must maintain eligibility for the duration of the contract.
- Technical proficiency in supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including device and endpoint management with Microsoft Intune or equivalent tools.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory for user and group management, permissions administration, and access control.
- Experience with PC imaging, workstation deployment, remote support tools, printer configuration, and enterprise email systems.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues on‑site and remotely in a timely, efficient manner.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate with non‑technical users.
- Adaptability to dynamic, mission‑critical Army environment, managing multiple incidents or service requests simultaneously, maintaining high system availability and user productivity.
