Hourly Pay: $25.00 (based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This is a temporary position. No leave or retirement benefits are offered. Temporary employees working an average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
Effective July 1, 2025, applicants who meet the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification are considered to meet the minimum qualifications. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities listed in this announcement are management preferences used for screening.
Note:
Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position to work in a temporary position. All temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.
- Assist with performing test runs of scheduled audio/video meetings within conference rooms with DHHS employees.
- Troubleshoot and analyze technical issues and provide resolution or escalation when applicable.
- This posting is for two (2) positions.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution plus one year of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role.
- Associate degree in computer science or an IT related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role.
- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of experience in the field of technology related to the position's role.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
