Digital Marketing Strategist - SEO​/Analytics

Beacon Technologies’ Digital Optimization Team has an immediate opening for an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist, specializing in SEO and Analytics. The ideal candidate will have the technical experience, business acumen, marketing and people skills to develop custom strategic plans such that Beacon’s customers can maximize their opportunity and ROI on the internet. Our Strategists work closely with small and medium size customer accounts to fully understand business processes and goals, evaluate various technical and digital marketing options, then collaborate with their customers to develop and execute a more complete digital marketing strategy.

We are primarily seeking candidates that live in the Greensboro, NC area. We will consider very strong candidates that live outside the area, but no relocation assistance will be available.

• Use industry tools like Semrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics to research and analyze the SEO landscape.
• Create and deliver strategic plans that support customer goals and boost organic traffic.
• Lead the execution of strategic plans with support from internal Beacon team.
• Create and maintain client reporting for all digital channels using GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio.
• Conduct analysis projects to produce data-driven insights on visitor behavior, focusing on traffic patterns, order volume, conversion funnels, navigation, pathing, and product selection.
• Troubleshoot issues related to organic visibility, data collection, and reporting; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends to understand changes in search algorithms, SEO tactics, data collection, and reporting best practices.
• Engage with customers to present results, findings, and insights.
• Serve as the digital marketing point of contact for organic strategy and reporting with internal and external teams.
• Provide high-level analyses to support Sales & Marketing with prospective customers.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and digital marketing partners.
• Exhibit strong communication skills with a focus on detail.

• Experience with digital marketing services, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager (ideally 3+ years).
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge with organic search (SEO) strategies, including on-page optimization, content strategy, local management, and site files like robots.txt and xml sitemaps.
• Experience and working knowledge with respect to HTML, JavaScript, and website development (Python is a plus).
• Working familiarity with statistics, statistical concepts and applied analytics, gleaning insights from data, and making decisions based on data.
• Ability to clearly communicate analysis findings & recommendations to non-technical customers.
• Ability to work on numerous concurrent projects while still hitting deadlines (organizational and time management skills).
• Strong analytical and marketing skills.
• Self-motivated, positive personality, solid work ethic with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Confident with written & oral communication skills regarding customer management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office – Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word to facilitate reporting and presentation needs.
