Self-Help is seeking a Network Administrator to support IT operations for a multi-branch organization headquartered in Durham, NC. This hybrid role calls for strong technical, customer service, and organizational skills to manage network solutions across the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operation of computer networks, including hardware and software support.
  • Plan, design, and implement connectivity for LAN, WAN, and cloud systems.
  • Maintain system hardware and software across the entire organization.
  • Maintain data infrastructure across the organization.
  • Plan, recommend, and assist in the design of infrastructure systems, including ERP, cloud, on‑premises, telecommunications, security, vendor relations, BCP/DR, and other IT facets.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve all IT data, cloud, telecommunication, and related problems.
  • Perform other duties as may be deemed necessary.
  • Visit branches/sites for IT evaluations.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and training in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience supporting a Windows network in a multi‑branch environment.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN architectures, cloud infrastructures, virtual server infrastructures, telecommunications, data communications, Active Directory, Power Shell, Windows OS/CLI, remote services/monitoring, backup maintenance, endpoint hardware/software, wireless infrastructures, and vendor management. Heavy security emphasis.
  • Ability to collect and review network utilization reports and debug network problems.
  • Develop, test, and help maintain BCP/DR plans.
  • Self‑starter/team player: coordinate, plan, design, and maintain data networks and services, assist help‑desk ticketing system by providing technical support to users and departments as required.

  • Up to 25% travel depending on operational activities.
