Provide comprehensive leadership to the SAP team and support for the S/4

HANA SAP environment, encompassing modules such as PP, MM, SD, QM, WM, EDI, Vistex, and Vertex. Oversee the development, maintenance, and optimisation of functional applications within SAP while ensuring seamless operation of the core system and database. Responsible for global delivery and support of SAP to all business units, including Finance, Accounting, Operations, and other departments as required.

Act as a trusted partner with IT leadership, stakeholders, end users, and external partners by providing strategic direction and facilitating consensus on solution deployment timing. Lead and execute special requests, audits, projects, initiatives, and presentations for leadership as required.

Establish and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and track performance against targets. Report on KPIs monthly for internal and external teams. Work seamlessly with staff, contractors, and outsourcing providers to deliver unified SAP support and top‑notch service.

Manage staff, mentor and conduct full performance management cycle, coach and guide direct reports to meet functional and company objectives. Perform all activities in compliance with internal and external requirements and standards. Manage release and change control processes for SAP updates, ensuring user training on new features.

Assist in reviewing, negotiating, and finalising IT contracts, optimising terms, reviewing and approving invoices, managing budget, and aligning contract terms with organisational goals through collaboration with IT management and procurement teams. Attract, develop, and retain talent while providing continual feedback and coaching through performance management tools. Investigate industry trends and new SAP versions, guiding senior IT management on recommendations.

Provide 24/7/365 on‑call support as needed for weekend/after‑hours SAP functions. Hybrid role: 3 days in office, 2 days remote. Travel required up to 10% of the time for national and international facility visits.

Preferred for MA/PhD/BS in a related field
:

• 8+ years of experience with SAP process re‑engineering, environments, systems design, deployment, and enhancements.
• 8+ years of experience integrating SAP Materials Management with Warehouse and Transportation Management.
• 6+ years with at least four of the following modules/technologies: SD, Logistic Execution, MM, WM, EDI, PP, QM, Vistex.
• 4+ years with Vertex and S/4
  
  HANA.
• 4+ years with 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
• 3+ years in a SAP customer‑facing environment.
• Experience with large‑scale SAP implementation covering integration, conversion, cutover, system integration testing, acceptance testing, requirements gathering, and relaying to IT to enable design, build, and implementation.
• 3 full‑cycle ERP implementations.

Alternate:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related field plus 10+ years of experience
:
