Job Summary
Provide scientific and technical guidance to support biomarker strategy for clinical development programs, with an emphasis on oncology and other complex therapeutic areas. Serve as a key scientific liaison for customers and internal teams to align study needs with laboratory capabilities across the global network.
What You'll Be Doing- Serve as the main scientific point of contact for key customers and provide global scientific oversight across clinical development programs
- Drive early scientific engagement to advise on tests, platforms, and technical considerations for clinical trials
- Support feasibility assessments for assay transfer, test validation, and evaluation of new technologies against study requirements
- Coordinate scientific activities across the laboratory network and subject matter experts in oncology, anatomic pathology, genomics, immunoassays, flow cytometry, companion diagnostics, in vitro diagnostics, and regulatory areas
- Manage scientific escalations and contribute to scientific governance discussions
- Provide scientific and technical support for bid defense preparation, capability presentations, RFIs, RFPs, and other clinical trial inquiries
- Partner with internal functions such as Marketing and Strategy to develop scientific client‑facing materials and represent the organization at conferences and events
- Bachelor's degree required;
Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred - Experience supporting biomarker strategy related to clinical development, including assay transfer, test validation, and platform selection
- Scientific knowledge relevant to oncology biomarkers and laboratory disciplines such as genomics, immunoassays, flow cytometry, and CDx/IVD
- Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

- Strong ability to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and coordinate scientific input across global teams and specialized laboratory disciplines
- Sound judgment in evaluating study requirements, resolving scientific escalations, and recommending strategic solutions
- Strong presentation and client‑facing skills to support bid defenses, capability discussions, and external representation
