The Accounting & Finance team is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to support initiatives focused on artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and data analytics. This position will assist in leveraging technology and data‑driven solutions to improve efficiency, enhance decision‑making, and uncover actionable insights across finance and accounting functions.

The successful candidate will work with large financial and operational datasets, support the development of analytical tools and dashboards, and explore innovative applications of AI technologies within a professional services environment. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience applying emerging technologies to real‑world business challenges while collaborating with finance and business professionals.

• Analyze large financial and operational datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improved business insights.
• Support the use of AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot and other analytics platforms, to streamline accounting and finance processes.
• Assist with the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with team members to identify repetitive or manual workflows that may benefit from automation.
• Support the design and implementation of automation solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, or similar platforms.
• Document processes, AI use cases, workflows, and best practices to support adoption and knowledge sharing across the department.
• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies, automation tools, and data analytics solutions relevant to finance and accounting functions.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting activities, and special projects as assigned.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience working with data through coursework, projects, internships, or other practical applications.
• Demonstrated interest in applying technology, analytics, and AI tools to solve business challenges.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of data analysis techniques, including data cleansing, trend analysis, and data visualization.
• Experience working with large datasets and data transformation processes.
• Basic programming experience using Python, SQL, or similar languages.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis functions.
