Senior Elastic Search Engineer job at Fartech Solutions. North Carolina.
Job Summary (Senior Elastic Search Engineer) Responsibilities- Design and build search applications using Elastic Search for scientific datasets.
- Deploy applications to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) utilizing CI/CD best practices.
- Monitor and manage GCP resources.
- Work with data modeling, including semantic data and ontologies/taxonomies/business data.
- Utilize modern software development tools and practices (e.g., git/Git Hub, Dev Ops tools, metrics/monitoring).
- Use infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, YAML) for repeatable architectures.
- Collaborate in a cloud environment, especially with Google Cloud and Kubernetes.
- (Preferred) Contribute to UI and API development.
- Education required:
Bachelor's in computer science, software engineering, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred). - Required experience:
Minimum 1 year with Elastic Search, 2 years with Cloud technologies. - Local candidates preferred (Research Triangle Park, Durham, NC; remote for locals).
