Piper Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Data Analyst to support a global SAP transformation initiative. This role will be part of the Unify Program’s Data Tower, focusing on data migration deliverables across multiple functional areas. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with ERP data migration, data cleansing, and mapping using industry‑standard tools.
Key Responsibilities of the Data Analyst:- Support data migration activities across functional areas including GSC, MM, PM, PP, LE, eWM, QM, Finance/Procurement, and Commercial
- Collaborate with business data owners, SMEs, and functional teams to understand source data and “To Be” requirements
- Capture and document migration requirements in Data Object Structure (DOS) and Data Definition and Migration (DDAM) formats
- Lead and support data mapping workshops, defining transformation rules and source‑to‑target mappings
- Coordinate defect resolution and validation efforts during migration cycles
- Ensure alignment with MDG and interface architecture in collaboration with technical teams
- 3+ years of experience in data cleansing and data migration for ERP implementations
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP S/4
HANA preferred, but not required) - Proficiency with data tools such as Syniti, SAP Data Services (DS), or Informatica
- Strong understanding of data mapping and transformation logic in ERP contexts
- Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across business and IT teams
- Experience supporting large‑scale ERP transformation programs
- Rate: $68-75/hr
- Remote, but ideally on the East Coast
