Location: Durham, NC (Onsite)
Schedule: Part-Time, 20 hours/week (2-3 days onsite)
Pay: $30-$33/hr
Contract: Strong potential for extension

We are hiring anIT Lab Support Technician with 1-2 years of experience supporting laboratory IT environments. This role combines help desk support with hands‑on support of scientific workstations, laboratory instruments, and end users in a research setting.
What You'll Do- Provide onsite IT support for scientists, researchers, and laboratory staff.
- Troubleshoot and support Windows, macOS, and Linux systems.
- Support laboratory instruments and workstations, including HPLCs, Spectra Max, microscopes, and NGS platforms.
- Install, configure, and maintain laboratory software and hardware.
- Support applications such as Empower, QXManager, Soft Max Pro, JMP, and Graph Pad.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Perform routine maintenance, system updates, and user account administration.
- Assist with data backup, asset management, and system documentation.
- Train users on laboratory workstation and software best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 1-2 years of IT Lab Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Lab IT experience.
- Experience supporting laboratory, scientific, research, healthcare, or biotech environments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows and macOS (Linux preferred).
- Experience supporting laboratory instruments and scientific software.
