Job Description
Metadata Ownership (End to End)
Own the enterprise campaign taxonomy and naming convention standard across brands,
business units, and channels — including campaign, tactic, placement, creative,
audience, and destination metadata.
Define and maintain the metadata schema and controlled vocabularies that flow from
planning tools through ad servers, DSPs, and site/CRM analytics into our data platform.
Build and operate the governance process: intake for new values, change control,
deprecation, and versioning. Publish the standard and keep it usable, not theoretical.
Establish automated validation and QA — pre-flight checks on trafficking sheets, in-
flight anomaly detection, and post-campaign reconciliation between agency reporting
and GSK’s system of record.
Partner with Data Engineering to land clean, conformed metadata in Databricks and
Salesforce Data Cloud so that media, web, CRM, and Rx outcome data can be joined
reliably.
Serve as the arbiter when metadata disputes surface in measurement: diagnose where
the break occurred and drive it to permanent fix rather than manual patch.
Dynamic Content & Creative Optimization (DCO)Own the technical design and operation of DCO programs: creative variant matrices,
decisioning rules, audience-to-message mapping, and modular asset structures.
Translate brand and omnichannel journey strategy into executable DCO logic —
including sequencing, suppression, frequency, and next-best-content rules across
programmatic display, endemic/HCP networks, EHR, and email.
Partner with brand, creative agencies, and Medical/Legal/Regulatory to ensure every
dynamic variant and every possible assembled combination is approved-claim compliant
and traceable to an approved asset .
Manage feed architecture for DCO — product, audience, geo, and contextual feeds —
including data quality, refresh cadence, and failover behavior.
Design and run creative testing frameworks (multivariate, holdout, incrementality- friendly designs) and turn results into standing optimization practice.
Define measurement at the variant level so that creative performance is attributable and
reportable, not anecdotal.
AdTech Platform & Vendor SupportAct as the primary technical liaison to media agencies and platform partners for
trafficking, tagging, integration, and troubleshooting.
Support and administer the ad tech stack: ad server, DSP and endemic platform
integrations, tag management, identity and onboarding, and clean room data exchange.
Own tagging architecture for paid media — impression, click, conversion, and view- through — including consent-aware deployment and alignment with client privacy and
cookie governance standards.
Run partner onboarding: data specifications, file transfer and API setup,
approach, QA acceptance criteria, and ongoing SLA management.
Triage and resolve production issues across the media supply chain — discrepancies,
tag failures, feed breaks, mismatched IDs — with clear root cause and preventive action.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and enablement materials so that agency and
internal teams operate the standard without dependence on a single person.
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)A published, adopted metadata standard with measurable compliance across brands
and agency partners.
Reduced reconciliation effort and discrepancy rate between agency-reported and client
reported media performance.
At least one brand running production DCO with variant-level measurement and a
repeatable MLR-approved workflow.
Partner onboarding time measurably shortened through reusable specifications and QA
tooling.
