Lead the development and execution of company-wide data, IT, software, and ML/AI capabilities to support Terrana Biosciences' agricultural biotech objectives.
Responsibilities:- direct 3-5 team members and coordinate external vendors
- establish data governance, FAIR data practices, and resilient cloud data architecture
- oversee deployment of software and ML/AI models into production workflows
- manage IT services including cybersecurity and vendor relationships
- serve as senior leader engaging with executive stakeholders on strategy, progress, and risks.
- Bachelor's in computer science, bioinformatics, or related field
- 10+ years in data engineering, software, or IT with proven strategy development and leadership
- strong cloud experience (preferably AWS), expertise in data modeling, pipelines, APIs, and ML/AI deployment
- knowledge of enterprise IT operations, cybersecurity, and scientific workflows
- excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- experience with LIMS systems like Benchling, AI-native tools, and workflow automation.
