Responsible for working in a team environment with technicians and customers to service, maintain, respond to and resolve routine Air and Water Balance concerns for the Durham sites.
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities- Perform and enter monthly and quarterly system capacity readings.
- Balance newly installed and existing Fab tools.
- Investigate and resolve routine trouble calls, and air balancing for various areas inside and outside of the Fab.
- Proactively identify opportunities to reduce potential hazards which may impact personnel health and/or the environment.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives in the area to reduce Fab impacts, improve efficiency and identify cost savings.
- Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer’s and company guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are met.
- Ensure area‑specific procedures and documents exist and submit updates to content when needed.
- Make recommendations related to preventative maintenance and other non‑routine issues.
- Monitor, analyze and address issues for area processes each shift.
- Support and monitor area processes and address/escalate issues.
- 10 years Test and Balance experience as a Test and Balance Technician or in a similar position.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative.
- Maker recommendations for new procedures.
- Willing to act independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Strong technical expertise and ownership of team and business objectives.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Suite and able to produce reports.
- Capable of climbing ladders and lifting up to 40 lbs with assistance.
- Legal ability to access technical data, information, and areas controlled by US export control laws and regulations.
