Job SummaryThe Preconstruction Coordination Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring deployment execution is structured, predictable, and complete. This role exists because deployment breakdowns rarely come from lack of effort—they come from lack of clear ownership across readiness and close-out.
This position brings discipline and follow-through to several high-impact deployment areas, including long lead-time material readiness, construction pacing, billing reconciliation, and project close-out. Success in this role means sites open without coordination-driven delays—and finish cleanly once they do.
The Preconstruction Coordination Analyst will be a key element in developing the process to enable large scale, distributed build out of an asset network.
Deployment Coordination & Readiness- Coordinate long lead-time design and readiness milestones for switchboards, canopies, and other critical components
- Ensure readiness aligns with real construction schedules
- Maintain visibility into readiness risks and act early
- You are not measured by activity, but by whether readiness issues ever become construction blockers.
- Serve as coordination hub across Design, Supply Chain, Construction, Operations, and Finance
- Push for clarity and accountability when ownership is unclear
- Coordinate complete close‑out packages
- Ensure billing reconciliation is timely and accurate
A site is not “done” when it opens—it’s done when it’s cleanly closed out.
Process Improvement- Support the development and refinement of coordination tools, checklists, and execution rhythms
- Identify recurring gaps or inefficiencies and proactively propose structural improvements
- Help build repeatable systems that scale with deployment volume
- Select vendors or negotiate contracts
- Lead permitting or utility coordination
- Pace vendors for delivery of finished goods
- Own the coordination, pacing, and follow‑through that ensures these functions stay aligned.
- Provide a critical interface across functions to drive schedule, ensure required steps are completed, and enhance the integrated team results.
- Long Lead‑Time Readiness: % of sites with switchboards and canopies ready when required by construction
- Short Lead-time 1st time delivery: % of sites that have the items delivered correctly on the first attempt.
- Project Close‑Out Completion: Projects closed out within 30 days of Go Live
- Some college with a minimum of 2 yrs of relevant experience in estimating, construction, supply chain or handling closeout/multi‑stakeholder projects
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfort with ambiguity and pace
- High ownership mindset
- Proficient in excel and MS360 Suite of Products
- EV infrastructure or utilities experience
- Project close‑out or billing exposure
- Blue beam or other plan viewing software experience
You’ll thrive here if you:
- Take pride in making complex execution environments orderly
- Are comfortable pushing for clarity and accountability across functions
- Can prioritize what actually matters when everything feels urgent
- Prefer ownership and outcomes over rigid role boundaries
This role is not a passive coordination or admin position. It is for someone who to be truly accountable to ensure items are ready and the projects are properly prepared for construction start.
