Premium pay is offered for weekend shifts.
Directly responsible for leading all day-to-day activities of the Supply Chain Associates (Levels 1 &
2). This role focuses on driving process improvements, building relationships, establishing and monitoring performance expectations, and maintaining team morale.

2) job functions at an advanced level, working alongside the team and leading by example. - Serve as a mentor, preceptor, and coach to teach and onboard new employees.
- Manage employee schedules to meet daily departmental demands and maximize efficiency across all shift work.
- Plan and schedule the work of stockroom, warehouse, and receiving/dock personnel, ensuring proper distribution of assignments and adequate staffing, space, and facilities.
- Manage attendance for assigned staff, documenting tardiness, PTO, and other metrics in the API system.
- Direct staff in attaining performance standards and provide input for performance evaluations, hiring, and related personnel actions.
- Assist with the development and management of Employee Job Requirements (EJRs) and staff performance reviews, providing corrective action when necessary.
- Meet regularly with department personnel, supply chain leadership, and customers to resolve concerns.
- Operate effectively with little to no supervision from management.
- Lead day-to-day supply chain functions in assigned areas, which may include receiving/dock, JIT/LUM inventory for Pyxis stations, PAR areas, the warehouse, the STAT room, and procedural areas.
- Apply advanced knowledge of inventory management practices to identify and implement departmental improvements (e.g., safety, process flows, shelf spacing optimization, FIFO rotations, cleaning schedules).
- Input and analyze metrics, tracking the daily output and performance of staff, and report on product outages and increased utilization.
- Review MRP orders to assure appropriate inventory levels are maintained and replenished.
- Review storage locations to ensure the proper rotation and placement of time‑sensitive items.
- Lead the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the appropriate entry of Goods Receipts and verification of merchandise.
- Review shortages, overstock, or damaged goods and resolve issues when possible.
- Perform additional job functions as necessary to ensure safe patient care practices, as directed by supply chain management.
- Work closely with nursing floors and OR staff to perform all PAR maintenance functions, making adjustments as needed with assistance from the Supply Chain Management Information Systems (SCMIS) team.
- Coordinate with Procurement to address backorders, ensuring appropriate action and communication with the customer.
- Coordinate with Procurement to keep staff and customers informed regarding the status of product conversions.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clinical staff and external customers to promote efficient patient care.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for supply chain functions, acting as a single point of contact for customer supply needs.
