Procurement Specialist IItoprocurematerials, equipment, supplies,andservicesin accordance withestablishedpurchasing regulations, procurement policies, and TGCS service demand requirements. This role reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions, creates purchase orders, communicates requirements to suppliers, and supports cost-saving opportunities through quantity, pricing, and forecast review.

The Procurement Specialist II is expected to useinitiativeandindependent judgmentwhile followingestablishedprocedures andmayserveasan Oracle process resource ortrainerforother team members.

• Receive and analyze system-createdplanning and departmental purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy; contact therequesteto clarify or complete information;processeachrequisitionwithinrequiredtiming; select an approved supplierbased onprice, quantity, quality,and delivery requirements; and createpurchase orders.
• Determinesbest cost savings by reviewing price tiering and forecast.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of Oracle Procurement roles, ERPpurchasingworkflows, and materials planning processes.
• Identify material requirements and work with suppliers to support business needs, delivery timelines, and service demand expectations.
• Communicates with supplier as needed on delivery and invoice requirements.
• Coordinate with Global Distribution Centers tosupportmaterialreturnstosuppliers when appropriate.
• Troubleshoot Oracleprocurement issuestosupporttimelyandaccuratepurchasingactivity.
• Resolvespurchasingproblems between department and supplier.
• Work with various departments to resolveplanning, receiving,and invoicing issues.
• Interprets and communicatespurchasingprocedures to departments;assistsdepartments in initiating requisitions.

• Bachelor’s degreein Business, Supply Chain,orarelatedfield,or at least four (4) years of procurement and supply chain experience.
• Strong,demonstrated knowledge of Oracle or other ERPsystem.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented self-starter with the abilityto manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Comfortable working in ateam environment andproactivelyasking for help when needed.
• Ability tomaintainstrongsupplier relationships and address supplierperformanceconcerns professionally when needed.
• Comfortable working throughaccounts payabledetailstohelp resolveinvoiceissues and supporttimelysupplierpayment.
