Position Summary Seeking a results-oriented Sr Director of Supply Chain Transformation to lead strategic initiatives that improve end-to-end supply chain performance, inventory optimization, procurement effectiveness, and operational excellence across the organization. This role will drive the design, implementation, and sustainment of supply chain transformation initiatives, including advanced planning tools, digital supply chain capabilities, data transparency, process standardization, and organizational change management.

The Sr Director of Supply Chain Transformation will serve as a key change agent, partnering with Operations, Materials, Procurement, Engineering, IT, Finance, and suppliers to deliver measurable improvements in service, cost, inventory, and productivity. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership, supply chain expertise, and transformation experience to build scalable processes and capabilities that support CVG's long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities Supply Chain Transformation Leadership
  • Develop and execute a multi-year supply chain transformation roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on inventory optimization, supplier collaboration, forecasting, planning, and materials management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational performance through process redesign, technology implementation, and organizational capability development.
  • Establish transformation governance, project plans, milestones, and performance tracking mechanisms.
  • Drive adoption of best practices across sourcing, planning, procurement, logistics, and materials management functions.
Digital Supply Chain and LeanDNA Leadership
  • Lead implementation and continuous improvement of LeanDNA and other supply chain planning technologies.
  • Establish supplier onboarding frameworks and engagement strategies to maximize platform utilization.
  • Improve visibility, traceability, and actionable insights throughout the supply chain.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful integration of digital tools and data sources.
  • Drive user adoption and realization of expected business benefits.
Inventory and Materials Management
  • Improve inventory accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and working capital performance.
  • Develop sustainable processes for inventory management, shortage mitigation, and demand-driven planning.
  • Support improved forecast integration and supply planning capabilities.
  • Establish metrics and accountability structures that drive materials' performance.
Procurement Process Excellence
  • Lead development and standardization of procurement policies, procedures, and governance practices.
  • Drive alignment between procurement, planning, and manufacturing operations.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that reduce complexity and improve efficiency.
  • Develop performance metrics and dashboards to enhance decision-making and accountability.
Change Management and Organizational Development
  • Develop and execute change management strategies supporting transformation initiatives.
  • Design and deliver training programs to support new processes, systems, and capabilities.
  • Establish employee certification and competency development programs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Coach and mentor supply chain leaders and functional teams throughout transformation efforts.
Performance Management
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across inventory, service, supplier performance, procurement, and operational execution.
  • Develop executive-level reporting and transformation scorecards.
  • Present progress, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure projects deliver measurable operational and financial improvements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive supply chain, operations, procurement, or transformation leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years leading large-scale business transformation initiatives.
