Position: Team Lead (2nd Shift)

Team Lead (2nd Shift)

Peter Millar – 2nd Shift Team Lead position.

Essential Functions
  • Adhere to all Safety, Quality, and Operational goals, policies, procedures, and standards. This includes reporting and escalating unsafe conditions, near misses, injuries, etc.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area that aids in efficient and productive experiences for workers on-site.
  • Prioritize work as assigned and manage the flow of day‑to‑day operations, including developing timelines and strategies for the team to achieve targeted business results.
  • Under the direction of the area Supervisor and DC leadership, provide clear and effective communication to the team in task assignment, delivery of training to DC personnel, and leveraging appropriate resources to keep projects on track and ensure DC success.
  • Participate in the creation and distribution of documentation, generation of reports, and information to keep team(s) up to date.
  • Monitor and review productivity metrics for individuals and teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations as needed or directed by leadership.

Desired

Education and Experience
  • Employed for at least one year in current role.
  • High school diploma or a GED equivalent from a certified college.
  • At least one year of experience performing functions in WMS.
  • Minimum of two years of team leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution center environment preferred.
  • Experience using MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
