Equipment/Fleet Assistant Manager
Location:
Greensboro, NC (supports procurement, fleet maintenance, and tool management across multiple branches)
Base pay range: $55,000.00/yr - $60,000.00/yr

Position SummaryThe Equipment/Fleet Assistant Manager plays a key role in tracking and managing company vehicles, equipment, and warehouse operations. This position supports procurement, fleet maintenance, and tool management across multiple branches. The role ensures equipment and vehicles are safe, available, and cost-effective, while providing strong organizational support to field and project teams.

- Oversee tool rentals and outside rental equipment for all projects (large and small construction, special services)
- Create and approve purchase orders for rentals in COINS system
- Track service calls and coordinate pickup/delivery of equipment to job sites
- Manage warehouse inventory, tools, and deliveries across multiple locations
- Outfit and set up new fleet vehicles, including Samsara system integration
- Maintain company vehicle fleet (inspections, maintenance, NC registrations)
- Supervise warehouse drivers across Greensboro, Raleigh, Fayetteville, and Charlotte
- Order new SEC equipment as required
- Drive a 1-ton truck as needed
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry (electrical focus strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and COINS software
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and a strong team player
