The Task Order Manager is responsible for the planning, management, oversight, and execution of individual task orders issued under the EPA‑RTP O&M Contract. This position ensures that all construction, maintenance, and service task orders are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with applicable codes, contract requirements, and government direction.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day execution of individual task orders issued by the Contracting Officer
- Develop, modify, and track task order schedules using Microsoft Project or equivalent government‑approved software
- Coordinate work activities with government representatives (TOCOR, COR, CO), subcontractors, and facility occupants
- Ensure task order plans and estimates are prepared within the specified time frames after receipt of requests from the CO
- Oversee task order closeout and submission of all required deliverables and documentation
- Communicate proactively with customers and subcontractors regarding schedule, scope, and status
- Ensure compliance with North Carolina General Contractor licensing requirements for all task order construction activities
- Coordinate with the Project Manager on task order resourcing, staffing, and budget
- Identify and report issues that may impact task order cost, schedule, or quality
- Ensure all task order work is subject to appropriate quality control inspection prior to Government acceptance
- Minimum 5 years of experience with responsible planning, oversight, management, and/or execution of commercial construction, maintenance, and operations projects and/or task orders
- Experience must be in a large commercial/industrial facility or at multiple facilities with complex mechanical, electrical, and structural requirements
- Active State of North Carolina General Contractor's License (required)
- Demonstrated experience coordinating work and communicating with customers and subcontractors
- Proven experience developing, modifying, and tracking project schedules
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Project
