Director (overseeing a department. Ex: Political Director, Communications Director)

All on the Field runs paid canvassing and ballot-access programs supporting 2026 Democratic campaigns. We're hiring a State Field Director to lead our canvass program in Greensboro/Guilford County, North Carolina.

You'll manage a paid canvass team of 20+ workers, with potential for the program to expand, and direct day-to-day field operations on the ground.

Responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations of the Guilford County canvass program

• Recruit, train, and supervise canvassers and team leads

• Develop staffing plans and verify hours

• Maintain data quality through spot-checks and fraud prevention

• Establish and monitor production goals

• Coordinate with operations staff on recruitment and logistics

• Report metrics to leadership daily

Requirements:

• 2+ cycles of field experience

• Team management experience (managing managers preferred)

• Track record of meeting metric-driven goals on deadline

• Proficiency with VAN/Vote builder and standard field tools

• Ability to remain composed under pressure

• Calid driver's license, vehicle access, and willingness to relocate to/be based in Greensboro, NC

This is a full-time role requiring evening and weekend availability to match field team hours, running through November 2026. Compensation is $6,500-$7,500/month, plus health benefits, mileage reimbursement, and a monthly phone reimbursement up to $100.
