Position SummaryAs the Field Vice President for Anti-Infectives, West you will build and lead the field force for a novel oral carbapenem across your region, reporting to the VP, Franchise Head, Anti-Infectives. This business-critical role requires deep US market understanding, strategic business leadership, strong healthcare ecosystem fluency, and proven ability to shape go-to-market strategies that integrate field execution with customer, payer, provider, and market dynamics.
This launch is the first and only oral carbapenem to treat patients with resistant complicated UTIs and has the potential to meaningfully reduce patient burden and cost to the healthcare system.
In this role, you will own field stand-up and execution, sales performance, capability development, launch readiness, customer engagement effectiveness, field force optimization, and regional business planning. You will be expected to optimize regional priorities and national strategies, manage investments and resources to maximize ROI, apply data-driven insights, and partner closely with the Brand Lead, who will focus on account marketing and patient experience.
This is a highly visible and strategically important role for GSK as we re-enter the anti-infective market with a wave of innovative products.

- Recruit, develop, coach, and lead a high-performing team of Regional Sales Directors, creating a culture of accountability, execution excellence, and launch urgency.
- Provide strategic leadership, in-field coaching, and operational direction to Regional Sales Directors to maximize regional performance and customer impact.
- Translate national brand strategy into actionable field execution plans and ensure consistent implementation across all regions and customer segments.
